Julia Banks is an author, writer and leadership consultant, who works across the private, corporate and public sectors, and all levels of government. Julia’s current work is broad ranging: from being a keynote speaker and panel facilitator, to engaging in “In Conversation” and workshop sessions with both small and large groups, to being a guest mentor at CEO and CxO roundtables.
Julia Banks brings a unique and broad experience to her work – and is an experienced executive corporate & board director, non-executive director, & advisory board member who has worked with global companies & Australian organisations across industry and government sectors. Julia has held senior executive director roles in corporate affairs and as general counsel and company secretary and served as a former federal government and independent MP. Julia is currently undertaking her PhD at Deakin University in Melbourne, regarding workplace culture, and also has a second book in the pipeline.

Julia Banks graduated in Arts & Law from Monash University in Melbourne Australia, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Governance Institute.
